Owl Pellet Update
We are experiencing a severe shortage of Barn Owl pellets, and are unable to fill any new orders for the foreseeable future.
This shortage is industry-wide: All of our barn owl pellets are collected from natural nesting and roosting sites. There is typically a decline in the barn owl population about every ten years, and the current decline is particularly widespread. It is going to take some time for the barn owl populations to rebound.
On a positive note we are pleased to be able to offer the alternative “Perfect Pellets”™ and “Perfect Pellet”™ Kits. These are an excellent classroom substitute for wild owl pellets.
